Pixelligent offers standard PixClear, as well as customized zirconia and titania nanocrystal formulations and dispersions, for OLED applications. These materials feature:
- Improve Light Efficiency By Nearly 2x in OLED Lighting Panels
- High Refractive Indices Up To 1.77 With ZrO₂ and 2.0 With TiO₂
- Transparencies Above 90% at 448 nm
- Planarizing With <1 nm Surface Roughness
- Availability With and Without Scatterer Particles (formulation only)
- Compatibility With Common OLED Resins
When used as an Internal Light Extraction (ILE) layer, PixClear® has demonstrated an increase in the light out-coupling by as much as 100%. Our products can replace or complement the benefits of using external light extraction layers and are compatible with existing OLED manufacturing processes.
