Pixelligent Awarded Dept of Energy $150,000 SBIR Phase I Grant for Gradient Index Technology Development

Baltimore, Maryland – Pixelligent Technologies, the leader in high-index advanced materials for Solid State Lighting and Display applications, announced today that it was awarded a Department of Energy (DOE) SBIR Phase I grant for its leading-edge OLED lighting technology. This grant supports Pixelligent’s further development of our proprietary PixClear® OLED technology platform for improving the efficiency and lifetime of OLED lighting applications.

The unique 3-D Gradient Index technology developed by Pixelligent represents a critical step forward in our OLED Lighting roadmap, and will enable us to deliver the highest possible light extraction efficiency to the market.
